Thai massage is the traditional massaging technique in Thailand. It aims to remove the obstacles that prevent the energy from moving in the sen lines of the body. In Chinese, the energy passageway is called meridians. Many massage schools in Thailand practice Thai massage. Thai massage is performed with the bare hands of the therapist. The patient doesn’t have to undress himself to receive the massage service and the therapist will not use essential oils to perform the massage. He will use his thumbs to press on different parts of the body. Generally, the therapist will massage the body 2 or 3 times and the whole massaging session takes about 2 hours. If you have tight muscles, you can hire a Thai massage service. People with a lot of stresses or high level of fatigue will also find Thai massage helpful. Thai massage is not suitable for people that suffer from hernia or fused spinal bones.

The wrapped cloth that contains the herbs will be steamed under hot temperature. After that, the therapist will put the warm herbal wrap on the body of the patient. The heat that is emitted from the herbal wrap will perform a therapeutic massage on the patient.

Foot massage involves soaking the feet in fragrant water, the therapist will then scrub away the calluses on the feet. In Thailand, foot reflexology is very popular. Many spas carry out foot reflexology in traditional Chinese styles. When performing foot reflexology, the therapists will use small tools to rub the top and bottom of the toes. The therapist will firmly press on the foot to perform the massage. The therapist will also massage various parts of the foot with the finger tips.

Swedish massage is a traditional massaging technique at Sweden. In Swedish massage, the therapist will use oil to massage the hard and soft places of the body. The masseuse will use two hands to make a long gliding stroke on the back.

Hot Stone massage involves using warm volcanic stones to massage the body. The warmth radiated from the stones will penetrate into the body deeply and cause you to become soothed from stresses.
